Benedikt Reimlinger was born in a small town in Bavaria, Germany. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, he studied technology management at the University of Stuttgart, specialising in manufacturing engineering. His current research focuses on the engineering design process of globally distributed product development organisations. Therefore, he strongly collaborates with industry.
