Siallagan, Dominik
Dominik Siallagan was raised in Appenzell, Switzerland. He studied Mechanical Engineering in his Bachelor and, after internship in a biomedical company, decided to focus in the biomedical field. He received his Mechanical Engineering Master Degree from the ETH Zürich and wrote his Master thesis at the Sheikh Zayed Institute at the Children’s National Hospital in Washington DC. After his Master thesis, he was able to continue his work as a Faculty Engineer at the University of Maryland in the Medical Robotics and Equipment Lab.
His current interest revolve around the topic “Skin” and generating smart solution to improve the in vitro fabrication of skin equivalents.
