Jonas Conrad

Jonas Conrad was born in Heidelberg, Germany and later brought up in Zug, Switzerland. He studied Mechanical Engineering at the ETH Zurich, where his interest in bringing state-of-the-art research into value-adding industrial applications was sparked. His research evolves around methods to accelerate and simplify the use of computer vision to support manual manufacturing processes: Together with industrial partners, he is researching and developing smart camera systems for manual assembly task recognition.
In his free time, he is either playing volleyball, cooking or motorbiking.
