Rieken, Finn
Finn Rieken holds a Master’s degree in biotechnology from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany. After graduating from university, he decided to first gain some practical insights outside academia and spent several years in innovation management and management consulting. During that time, he understood that although a lot of approaches exist to promote innovation in organizations, the success of these approaches is rarely scientifically proven. Hence, Finn decided to strive for a combination of high-quality research and direct applicability for organizations in his studies and thus he intensively cooperates with research and development teams from both industry and academia.
Finn studies the influence of innovative workspace-solutions on research and development teams and on the innovation capabilities of organizations. For teaching and research, Finn strongly collaborates with Prof. Dr. (ETH) Mareike Heinzen from Hochschule Koblenz, Germany.
Finn’s spare time is devoted to family & friends, allmountain mountainbiking and travelling.
