Batliner, Martin

Martin grew up in Liechtenstein in the idyllic Rhine valley before moving to Vienna, to study mechanical engineering with a focus on product development and control theory. After two years at the sensor company Sensirion he decided to return to university for a doctorate in which he collaborates with a medtech startup to integrate sensor technology into their product. His research interest is user-centered product development and the role of testing and iterations in the development process. In his spare time Martin can be found on the lake, in the snow or on clay, either rowing, skiing or playing tennis.
