Ochsner, Gregor, Dr.

Gregor Ochsner was born in 1985 and grew up in Einsiedeln, where he still lives today. On top of his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at ETH Zurich, he completed a doctorate on the topic “Physiological Control of Left Ventricular Assist Devices” at the Institute for Dynamic Systems and Control at ETH Zurich in 2014. Gregor Ochsner is currently employed as a post-doc at the pd|z and coordinates the OctoVAD research project, which is part of the Zurich Heart initiative. In addition, he organises and teaches the Control Systems 2 course for mechanical engineering students at ETH Zurich. For recreation, Gregor likes to hike, ski and ride his mountain bike.
