Focus Projects

For two semesters, teams of up to eight ETH students develop a product from the initial idea to a reliable prototype of a complex mechatronic system. The projects are interdisciplinary and the ETH-Zurich student teams collaborate with students from other departments and universities.

Based on an innovative project idea, the teams pass through all phases of an industrial product development process. The students work in a realistic industrial environment and deal with all product development related topics: concept, draft, simulation, engineering, production, design and marketing.

Upcoming projects

From now on until the 31st of May 2020, you can apply for the upcoming focus project Smart Assist - Support System for Manual Tasks, starting in fall 2020.
