Seraina Dual receives Young researcher scholarship of ISMCS

Seraina has been honored with the Young researcher scholarship by the International Society for Mechanical Circulatory Support (external page ISMCS)  for her collaborative study between pd|z and the St. Vincent Hospital in Sydney Australia. The goal of the project was to better understand how the electrocardiogram could be used to monitor the health of patients supported by a ventricular assist device. Seraina will present the results at the ISMCS conference in Shanghai in October 2020.

About ISMCS Young Researcher Scholarship
An annual scholarship is granted to promote advancement in the field of mechanical circulatory support and particularly to promote international cooperation within research groups. The scholarship carries a stipend of US $5.000 and is offered to a young researcher who pursues an excellent project in a joint cooperation between two institutions.
